Luftbild Ostseefjord Schlei, Sieseby, Gasthof Alt Sieseby, | Die älteste Baustruktur im Ort ist die romanische Feldsteinkirche, die im Kern bereits im 12. Jahrhundert errichtet wurde und als das älteste Bauwerk der Gemeinde gilt. Sie wurde im 13. Jahrhundert erweitert, wobei ein weiterer Chor nach Osten hin angebaut und ein Kreuzrippengewölbe eingezogen wurde. In einer Urkunde vom 15. August 1267 wird erstmals die Existenz eines Kirchspiels in Sieseby erwähnt. Die Kirche wurde 2015 saniert, wobei der Dachstuhl erneuert und das Gewölbe restauriert wurde.
